These terms govern your use of Chacha, operated by Scott Martin in Mexico City. By using Chacha, you agree to these terms, our Community Guidelines, and our Privacy Policy.
Accounts
Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and use only your own account. If you are not legally able to accept these terms yourself, a parent or legal guardian must do so for you. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Your content
You keep ownership of content you create. You grant Chacha a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical display, and show it as needed to operate and improve the service. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for reasonable backups, legal obligations, and content others have already shared outside Chacha. Only upload content you have the right to use.
Acceptable use
Follow our Community Guidelines. Do not abuse the service, access accounts or systems without permission, interfere with operation, scrape at scale, evade safety controls, or use Chacha for unlawful activity. We may filter, restrict, or remove content and suspend or terminate accounts to protect users and the service.
Places and third parties
Community place details, ratings, prices, and availability can be incomplete or outdated; verify important information with the business. Maps, authentication, hosting, push delivery, and external links may rely on third-party services governed by their own terms. Use of Google Maps content is also subject to the Google Maps Platform Terms. Affiliate links do not influence Chacha community scores.
Submit a café claim only if you are an owner or authorized team member, and provide accurate, lawful verification information. Approval is not an endorsement and grants only the limited tools shown in the app. We may reject or revoke a claim when evidence cannot be verified, authorization changes, or the feature is abused.
Service and liability
Chacha is provided “as is” and may change, pause, or end. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will post the new date here. Material changes apply after reasonable notice. These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico, with disputes subject to the competent courts of Mexico City, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
